WHO WE ARE...
On June 1, 1914, a small group of people established the first congregation of St. John Lutheran Church, a member of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. Since that time, much has changed both in our congregation and our community, but the Good News of salvation in Jesus Christ has remained the same.

St. John is a congregation of those gathered in the name of the Triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—around His saving Word and Sacraments. Sharing the message of the forgiveness of sins that is ours in Christ Jesus, we are committed to the pure preaching of God’s Word. Our mission, through the power of the Holy Spirit, is to further God’s kingdom, reaching out in an effort to save the lost and strengthen the saved.
